Free

A lot has happened over the last year. And I'd like to say that I grew from it. Finally being able to see what can't be changed and accepting it for what it is, is so liberating. I hope that this new year brings smiles for miles to everybody I know. Even though life is pretty difficult right now, I realized that the smallest things that I've taken for granted is so beautiful if I get the chance to stop and think about it. Like this:

The glass on the camera of my phone cracked, so it's kind of blurry around the edges. But a couple of friends and I were driving down this highway and it literally looked like this for 20 minutes. Just water on either side of us and a road headed for the horizon. The sky had no clouds whatsoever and the shade was just jaw-dropping.

I realized on that day, that even when everything's going wrong, we should stop and think that the world is so much bigger than us, than just one person. Life is going to have its GREAT moments, and then it's going to have its bad moments. We can't expect to have no problems, otherwise that just wouldn't be life. Struggles and obstacles are what makes us mature. Even after all the pain and unnecessary troubles in my life, I'd still go back and make the same decisions if I were ever given a chance. I've learned so many things, even if it was the hard way.

We can only hope to use the past as a learning experience, helping us build stronger and better relationships. Otherwise "history repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce" as Karl Marx once wrote. There would be no point in going through a harsh situation and only coming back to a similar, if not the same one, and making the exact decision AGAIN. Every day is a gift, and I plan on gladly accepting it day by day with an open mind.

Simplicity.

LOL wow, it's been a while since I've updated. Terrible terrible! Well recently I accompanied my parents to Corpus Christi and helped them babysit kids there. (My brother helped too.) Here's a view of the ocean, it was really cold and it made me sad seeing palm trees and the ocean but no heat like Hawaii. ):

This was one of my favorite children when I babysitted. (: Suchasweetheart. Only 9 and so outgoing! My brother and I had asked her to demonstrate a freestyle and she burst out with a series of "Yo" "Dawg" "Sup" and "Word". She has more courage than I did at her age. Plus she was very mature. Anyways, this is miss Rheagan.
I'll add more pictures later whenever I get around to putting them on my computer and updating my blog, haha.

I forgot how exhausting children can be whenever they are looking for you to help them with everything. I appreciate the simple, clean, and pure mind of a child and ache for that kind of mindset once again. Everything was so much better at that age because I couldn't comprehend the reality of the world and the despair. I'm not sure whether "ignorance is bliss" still. I wish I could have it both ways.

Anyways, I love children(: Can't wait till I have some!

Lazy-itis.

I have too much of it! Ahh! What to do? I've been slacking off so much, whether it be responding to texts or calls, or even posting a new blog (I'm only doing this for Joanna hehe). I need to get out of this short-term disease!

Sorry honey, I'm getting back on top of things now(:

Oh, I was looking at Julia unni's graffiti book, and saw a sketch that I really liked:

I wish I had artistic skills like this ):

Joanna Kim

My favoritest ugliest cousin! Nah nah, just jokes, she's pretty. I'm okay with totally being open and showing you my funny facial expressions that are considered to be UGLY, but it's NOT okay that you can put up pictures everywhere on blogger! I'm not gonna be mean & put an ugly picture up, so this is my nice attempt of putting up a picture. Though I've been tormented with an internal war for a good ten minutes to put up the worst picture I had, or a good one. This wasn't easy for me, but I've decided to be nicer than this woman coughcough* here:

Miss you, honey. I was too ugly to be put into this picture with you, so I cropped me out.

I'm still upset over what you did though!
Don't think that you're off the hook!

Finally,

It's been such a long time since I've blogged, I got dragged into it by Joanna(:
Um, I'm not sure what to write about right now, so I think I'm about to stop here. So far, I like Blogger.

I can't wait to go back<3
Life goes on
,, I guess.

I've had a fanatic with something that I will not mention because frankly, it's just too embarrassing that I was even hooked on it for just the
slightest amount. Joanna, I think you know what it is, so don't mention it at all ):
But even through my intense addiction that left me wanting more at night, to the point I couldn't sleep for hours, I realized that my brain doesn't work like the average mind. The more that I indulge myself in the things that I wanted desperately, the faster that I was becoming tired of them.
This has been true with many things throughout my life. I'm glad that it kind of works like this, knowing that I can tire of the things that I desired, but I don't know if this means that I will get bored over other things much more quickly than they should, from contentment with my life to relationships.
I want to be able to have what I want, and want what I have.
I hope this doesn't backfire on me.
